BETWEEN LIGHT AND SILENCE

A fine-art photographic exhibition by Tom Byrne

Between Light and Silence brings together ten photographic works by Tom Byrne, united by a language of shadow, gesture and symbolic space. Figures appear to emerge from rooms, walls, darkness, cloth and memory. Some seem uncovered; others seem suspended between loss and revelation.


Across the series, light is never neutral. It reveals, confines, sanctifies and exposes. Silence is equally active: the pause after a cry, the space left by a vanished voice, the stillness before change.


The works are not intended as fixed stories. Each image offers fragments - body, surface, object, ritual and threshold - from which the viewer completes the emotional narrative.
